Edgard, by the Grace of God of Alexandria Emperor, all Our loving subjects, and whatsoever to whom these presents shall come, greeting.
WHEREAS We desire the wellbeing of Our subjects and the good government of this Our Realm;
WE HEREBY ENACT by those ancient Rights and Powers duly apportioned Us, with the advice of Our chief ministers and advisors:-
THESE LAWS
TO ALLOW OUR GOVERNMENT TO EXTEND RECOGNITION TO FOREIGN NATIONS.
I. General Provisions
1. The Minister of Foreign Affairs shall be granted the power to make Declarations of Recognition.
2. Declarations of Recognition shall specify one or more entities. The Declaration shall grant the recognition of His Majesty's Government that these entities are sovereign powers.
3. Recognition may be revoked at any time by the Minister of Foreign Affairs or by the Prime Minister.
II. Recognition
1. Recognition shall not be granted where such would offend the dignity of the Empire or His Majesty's Government.
2. Recognition shall not be granted to entities that are directly and legally subordinate to another sovereign power.
3. Should a recognised entity become subordinate to another sovereign power, as in Section II Clause 2 of this Act, recognition of the subordinate entity shall be immediately and automatically revoked.
III. Citation and Commencement
1. This Act may be cited as the Foreign Affairs Policy Decree 2005.
2. This Decree shall come into force immediately.
