On the recommendation of the Provincial Historian of our province, the official name of the Provincial Historical Society is, as of now, known officially and formally as the Conseil d’Amelioration pour la Culture. In English, the Council for Cultural Amelioration. The office and title of Provincial Historian has been changed to the office and title of CAC (for short) Director.

Just one small example of how the First Minister's Cabinet and the citizens of the province of Valenciennes are making a committment towards an active, culturally enriched, and engaging atmosphere within our sphere of the Empire.
