Julien Rousseau, Liberal Alternative (LA) 1 (50.0%)

There is a tie between Jean Michel Leclerc and Julien Rousseau, and as stated in the Code of Electoral Law, a national run-off election should occur. However, Mssr. Leclerc withdrew his candidacy, and Mssr. Rousseau has won by default.

Julien Rousseau (LA) is elected.

Maximilano de Alba, Alexandrian Conservative Party (ACP) 3 (50.0%)

There is a tie between Jean Carmicheal and Maximiliano de Alba, and as stated in the Code of Electoral Law, a national run-off election should occur within the next week.

How does this system work? I looked at the results and it says I won and Maximiliano was defeated. It also says we both got 3 votes each, but I won because in a second round I got 3 and he got 0. :wacko:

There was no second round. You and Maximiliano both recieved the same amount of votes, and as stated in the law, there has to be a runoff election to decide it.

A candidate has to live in the province that they are running in.
