HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE OF THE EMPIRE OF THE ALEXANDRIANS

WARRANT FOR ARREST


Whereas it has been found that there is evidence that Franco Torres’ continuing presence in the Empire poses a grave and credible threat to the Empire, I do hereby order the Franco Torres to be imprisoned in the Conciergerie until proceedings are held and Defendant is released for some other reason under the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Just for the record, I don't think there is one. Maynard D'Aire was being mooted as a potential candidate but I am unsure whether it got formally sorted.

You are incorrect on this matter.

Under the Code of Criminal Procedure a Justice may after he has granted a Petition for Indictment under Article 2 of the said Code of Criminal Procedure issue a warrant for arrest under Article 3 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

A Petition for Indictment had filed for by the Emperor standing in for the Minister of Justice. The whole process for filing for Petitions for Indictment takes place, as stipulated by the Code of Criminal Procedure, in a private judicial forum to which only the proper authorities have access to. The warrant for arrest is, therefore, very lawful.
