Andreas the Wise hops off the plane to the picturesque colony of Corvocado. While he's been nearby before (having spent a lot of time in Passas before it's demise) he had never been to inside the Alexandrian colony before, and finds the experience delightful. They managed to get the only bit of sandy beach in the otherwise swampy south Passas region and it's pleasant just to spend some time there, walking along it, and looking in the rock pools. He wonders what will happen to this region ... while he's there the local newspaper reports some unrest in the political sphere regarding it, and he knows that it's a place that, if the treaty he negotiated passes, will become connected to more of Alexandria, but until Parliament is elected, he cannot know whether his treaty will pass ...
