At a speech in San Martin, at the end of his 10th term in Parliament, MP Matthieu Poiters gets ready for an address to the general public in San Martin. The MP invited all his conservative followers that once supported him to support him yet again in his path to an 11th term in Parliament.
Fellow Alexandrians, San Martinians!
It is a great day to be out campaigning definitely! I’m certainly glad to be amongst all of you. You have all given me the opportunity to serve you and serve you I have.[crowd applauds] The 10th Imperial parliament session has been without a doubt one of stress and ignorance. This is of course coming from the liberal party of Alexandria, the AAP. A party that at least knows they’re liberal but can’t really define themselves as a party. A party that once had a reputation of helping Alexandrians no longer stands for that. I concede that under the leadership of Jacques de Beaufort, a former conservative icon in Alexandria and former resident of San Martin the party was virtually head-to-head with the ACP on every province and eventually lead to Prime Minister Pete James’ first win by a slight margin.
Politics has defined Alexandria for 5 years and continues to do so. I’m not your average member of parliament. I care about the people of Alexandria and put my constituents first before anything. Members of this “new majority” fail to do their job of returning the favor to the people of Alexandria they get elected to construct their own agenda and now are all tied to the latest case of treason. Franco Torres whose sole purpose is to prevent parliament from acquiring progress and fighting with the minority instead of compromising has sent out a dispatch to members of his own coalition and other citizens asking for help in turning Alexandria into a Republic. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Conservatives have been fighting hard in Parliament to protect our current government, our Imperial Democracy. Those from the opposition label Alexandria as a Liberal Democracy which Alexandria is not and conservatives will fight on to prevent from happening!
I ask you to think about the record that the Conservatives have had and the reputation we’ve built. We have actually provided progress for Alexandria, and not to mention that we’re actually a defined party! Everyone knows what we stand for! Our sail flies in one direction and not on all! [everyone laughs] I’m asking you to remember what we’ve done for Alexandria and look at what we want to do still. I’m asking for your vote once again. Let the good times roll again!

There was a time that you stated: "the ACP is undefeatable but it is just because they have been unopposed."
Is this the opposition you propose: BRAVO ?
Moreover, if someone exalts the very concept of not knowing what they stand for and shifting from here to there for electoral gain, it is you, mr. Bertrand and not the AAP.
