Friends,
I am glad to be here with all of you today, in this tour of the province. I have been meeting with many of you and listening to your concerns and thoughts. I am glad to see that you are all trying to get involved and getting your opinions styated. I value them, and when I go back to Parliament or to the Governor’s Council, I will keep them in mind.
I have spent my political life in Alexandria as a Conservative. I am proud of it. I have served as MP, Prime Minister, Minister, and Governor. I have become firmer and firmer in my convictions that the only party that has really ever offered a consistent set of morals, values and principles is the Conservative Party. The AAP has shifted around like the sails of a boat, and the FPA is a fringe party whose only sane member left in a LOA. The Liberal Alternative is the only party I truly see that one can partner with, but even sometimes they seem to partner with elements such as the AAP, which have worked consistently to remove people’s citizenships and obliterate people’s political rights. In times like these, I am deeply concerned.

One side of this campaign states that the Conservatives wish to establish a one-party state and a dictatorship. One side of this campaign states that the Conservatives are a party that have allowed inactivity to settle into the country like a plague. One side of this campaign says that we are the party of warmongering and bigotry. They rally around their banner, inexplicably working to weaken Alexandria.

Do not be distracted by their so-called cries for freedom and democracy. They attempt to chip away the sovereign powers of Our Emperor and work to weaken our defenses and use that crooked talk to advance it.

You and I are told increasingly to choose between left or right, however, I suggest that is not the choice. I say that the choice is more up or down – up towards growth, peace, prosperity, security, stability and true freedom and democracy… or down to the erosion of Alexandria’s prosperity and security. They claim to work for freedom and democracy, yet anytime you and I question their schemes, we are denounced as being against their humanitarian goals. They say we are always "against" things, never "for" anything. Well, the trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn't so.

My friends, this so-called “new majority” in Parliament has their days numbered. My friends, no longer shall we stand in Parliament trying to make reason to their baseless attacks. In Parliament, they have done nothing but to lower debate to partisan bickering, destroying the bipartisan culture established in past Conservative majorities. Compromise in Parliament has been thrown out the window. Everytime important security measures have been placed before their judgement they choose to eliminate them, invoking the name of “democracy”. My friends – this is not a republic. This is no a third tier republic. This is the Empire of the Alexandrians, and we are targeted everyday by troublemakers such as Lysander Spooner. The security measures proposed by the party in Parliament as well as measures to preserve the integrity of the Imperial Cabinet have been shot down amidst their baseless and false claims. You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve Alexandria and work for its strengthening and progress, or we will sentence it to walk in darkness and weakness?
I know that this call will not be unheeded. I know this call will not be ignored. The people of Alexandria know better. When the tree is shaken, the apples will fall. Oh, friends – if we all unite and we gather strength, we can continue to work to strengthen our nation, revive our economy and maintain the constitutional monarchy we believe in. We can unite and defeat the so-called “new majority” that deals in threats and baselessness.

This upcoming parliamentary election I call upon the Alexandrian people to rise in a ballot box renewal. We will renew our government. We will keep Alexandria strong, united and prosperous.

Thank you.
