Excellency,
The treaty seems a bit out of context. There are some parts to the treaty that raise up questions. However, the text in general can be acceptable. For your information, our Empire holds the right to deny or accept treaties after being signed, due to the fact that all treaties, in order to be ratified have to either:
a: Be ratified by the Imperial Parliament; or
b: Be ratified by His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor.
respectfully,
Tywysydd - March 3, 2008 11:11 PM (GMT)
Trinovantium is not willing to sign into a treaty that Alexandia can dissolve at its pleasure, and the wording and construction of the Trinovantic treaty needs tweaking. Would it be easier for Trinovantium to opt into an Alexandrian made treaty?
HIH Prince Enrique Portela - March 4, 2008 04:08 PM (GMT)
Excellency,
Pardon, but i may have interpreted things differently with your last message. Firstly, Alexandria holds the right to dissolve the treaty at any moment it pleases if the Imperial Parliament or His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor do not approve of the treaty which is rarely the case.
If this is something that does not interest the people of Trinovantium, then it certainly does not please nor interest the people of Alexandria, His Imperial Majesty, or His Imperial Majesty's Government. If the case is that Trinovantium is indeed interested, then Alexandria will suggest using the standard treaties that we've used in previous treaty negotiations.
respectfully,
