Title: Conférence Provinciale de Secteur Français
Description: After the elections maybe?
Jean Michel Leclerc - January 11, 2008 10:22 AM (GMT)
Citizens of Baudrix,
I was wondering whether you, acting as representatives of a future provincial government, would be interested in attending a Secteur Français Conference in which to discuss any plans that you may have for Secteur Français inter-provincial cooperation. Or indeed if you had any issues that you may feel that our sector needs to discuss or raise nationally. It may even relate to how other province can assist you in establishing your provincial government.
I would suggest that it took place after the Elections and that it lasted for a 3 or 4 day period - other than that we can reach a consensus on a good time.
If it is a successful experience we could repeat, but it would be hosted by a different province of the Secteur Français.
Let me know what you think,
Jean Michel Leclerc - January 17, 2008 09:08 AM (GMT)
Is no one from Baudrix interested then?
HIH Prince Enrique Portela - January 17, 2008 12:41 PM (GMT)
Your Lordship,
I am beggining to think that this would be an excellent idea for Baudrix to participate in. I'm not too sure what other citizens here think, but i think it would be great to continue to do something like this in the french sector.
let me know what i can do to help,
respectfully,
Jean Michel Leclerc - January 17, 2008 01:11 PM (GMT)
Your Highness,
Rally some support for it perhaps!
Regards,
HIH Prince Enrique Portela - January 17, 2008 07:39 PM (GMT)
I shall try my best to rally as much support as possible for this purpose, your lordship.
respectfully,

Mr. Leclerc,
I support every good initiative for the development of this province and the french sector.
The reason I have not replied sooner is that I was waiting for some clarification on what the Conférence would entail precisely, and what specific issues would be brought to the agenda by the other Provinces.
Mes salutations,

I too agree that this is a wonderful initiative.

Please pardon me for having not responded earlier.
I am interested in attending a conference to discuss plans for inter-provincial cooperation, however I find that I have little to no interest in having the assistance of the citizens from other provinces in the establishment of our provincial government. I too, like Freddy, would like to know what you have in mind. Perhaps others will be sparked to bring their thoughts to the conference with a bit more “clarification on what the Conférence would entail precisely, and what specific issues would be brought to the agenda by the other Provinces” as Freddy stated.
I have a plan for the provincial government of Baudrix which I have worked on extensively for just over a month now. I am almost ready to present it in Baudrix. I believe the government plan I am about to put forth will comply with the Constitution and laws of Alexandria while at the same time be quite a bit different from any Provincial government seen in micronations. (Different from any national government of any micronation of which I am aware also). I’m hoping this won’t cause it to be rejected – but that remains to be seen.

Guys,
I would just like to say that this idea hasn't become dead in the water. We are currently in the process of structuring our provincial executive committee and, following the submission of my report to the First Minister, this idea is back on the agenda.
Also, in response to the posts saying "what will it entail" the whole point is that it can entail what you want it to. I feel that there should be a number of 'threads' open: one in which any issues people may have or ideas for improving our sector should be debated in an orderly fashion; one in which specifically cultural development issues can be discussed; and, of course, an off-topic. The agendas need to be brought to the table via Provincial Governments and individual citizens really. I for one will be bringing the concept of further Frenchification and Wikification of all things Secteur Francais.
I think that a date in early June may be good, but I'm willing to compromise. Any ideas?
Regards,
