BE IT ENACTED by the Emperor's most Excellent Imperial Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Members of Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: Article I: Reference This shall be referred to as the Repealment of Treaties Act of 2007. Article II: Repealment process 2.1 There shall be a process to repeal treaties: 2.1a. Introduction as a Motion. 2.1b. The speaker shall allow for a pro and con statement. If there is a case in which there is not a con speaker, the motion automatically passes, if there is a case in which there is no pro speaker the motion automatically fails. 2.1c. Vote (If Pro/Con speakers are present.) Article III: Enforcement The enforcement of this will go in effect immediately after Parliament has passed the motion. Article III: Imperial Assent The act shall go into force upon receiving Imperial Assent. |
