| Article I: Reference This act shall be referred to as the Citizenship Investigation Act of 2007. Article II: IP (Internet Protocol) List 2.1 In order to ensure security within the Empire, the Empire shall maintain a private record of IP addresses for use in the future. 2.2 If a criminal is caught in Alexandria, and is convicted of a crime His/her IP address must be entered into the IP list. Article III: Investigation 3.1 If suspected of a crime, the Director of Intelligence and/or the Emperor can question the applicant, in which case the applicant must answer each of the asked questions. 3.2 The questioning of a suspect may only be conducted with the approval of a member of the Imperial High Court. Article IV: Making the cut The Director of Intelligence must certify the results of each investigation to the Imperial cabinet, the Emperor, and a member of the Imperial High Court in sufficient detail to enable the Ministry of Interior to make its own decision on the application. Article V: Conviction of Crimes Anyone who obtains naturalization by means of fraud, false representation, or concealment of a material fact is guilty of misrepresentation and shall be punished according to the Criminal Code. Article VI: Assent This act shall become law after Imperial Assent is given. |
