I request your leave to form a Provincial government in Baudrix. On Nov. 29, 2007 I started a thread in Baudrix to this effect, asking what is currently in place and who wants to participate. To date there has been one response – Christopher.

I request your permission to move forward according to the Constitution and laws of the Kingdom.

Article 30 [Provincial Governments]
The Provinces of the Alexandria -being Asunción, Puerto Nuevo, Rio Grande, Valenciennes and Baudrix- are allowed to create their own governmental bodies and regulations, as long as they pledge their service to this Constitution and do not contradict any law that may be put forward by the Imperial Parliament of the Empire of the Alexandrians.

I see the question of having an active government in Baudrix has been approached? Do we have or did we have a provincial parliament and/or an executive? Do we have a justice system here? Is there a list of the provincial laws? Are there any documents on any of these items?

I propose to move forward with a provincial government even if we only have one citizen who will participate – if that is only me, ok.

I hereby call for citizens of Baudrix to express either an interest in participating or to accent to the process even if they wish to not participate.

Step 1: A list of citizens who wish to participate
Step 2: Draft a document stating the provincial governmental structure.
Step 3: Place Baudrdix citizens in the provincial government per the final governmental documental.

It would be nice to have a reply - but I guess no response is better than a no response.

So, soon after the first of the year I shall move forward with this plan to form a Provincial government in Baudrix.

Sorry, it's the holidays, I'd expected people to respect that. ;)

I shall issue a decree giving legality to the Provincial Parliament of Baudrix very soon.

I would like to say that I did respect the Holidays and that there have been post, even in this forum, by yourself since the 15th of December when my request was made here. That really isn't important to this, IMHO.

If you only seek permission to begin the process, then by all means, consider it granted by myself. However, once the government and the provincial legislature are formed, I will have to give it legitimacy by granting it a Charter.

I don't know if the law making body should have a particular name at this time. I'll post what I have in mind in Baudrix soon. I think the law making body will be a bit unique, but I hope the government I have in mind will meet with your approval.

I'm attempting to suggest a government in Baudrix that will be fun and thus cause people to want to want to be active in the government, in the Province, and have a lot of fun doing it.

I'm almost done with getting it written up.
