Title: Parliamentary Medal Nominee

Jacques de Beaufort - January 21, 2007 05:08 PM (GMT)
Speaker and members of the Imperial Parliament,

Given the fact that we still have ten days of activity before the new Parliament takes place, I would like to take advantage of this little time to propose the first every nominee to receive the Parliamentary Medal of Honor: Prince Augusto Benavides.
Now, this is a person who lives only for our great Empire, and who has for some time now managed the Imperial Foreign Policy with great vision. I say he is a very suitable person to receive the first ever Paliamentary Medal of Honor given since the law creating it passed.

I present the motion of condecoration with this message.

Sincerely,

QUOTE

Parliamentary Medal of Honor
Whereas the citizen of the Empire, Prince Augusto Benavides has proved to be a devoted subject to His Majesty the Emperor, and a loyal friend to his countrymen,

Whereas he has proved able to maintain the peace in the Empire with his handling of the Foreign Policy,

This Parliament is glad to present him with the Parliamentary Medal of Honor.

I second this motion, and throw my support behind this nomination

Pete James - January 21, 2007 11:02 PM (GMT)
I also support the nomination

Matthieu Poiters - January 21, 2007 11:20 PM (GMT)

i do not support the nomination. i envision someone else in the prince's stead, his name being Juan Ciervo (jon) he has truly proven his abilities as a diplomat and more over as a politician, a judge and a grand admiral. i believe that it should be Juan Ciervo that should receive this parliamentary medal of honor.

i would like this to be supported.

Poiters. MP for PN.

I have a suggestion to make that we do not award this to current Prime Ministers. Maybe nest session ;)

Pete James - January 24, 2007 04:02 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure how we do this, but could all MP's please list their first choice nominee for the medal.

I support the nomination of Augusto Benavides

Jacques de Beaufort - January 25, 2007 02:52 AM (GMT)
I also support Augusto Benavides, besides, he is entering Parliament in the next session, and therefore we won't be able to award him with this medal. The Prime Minister is not entering Parliament so we could award him the medal once he leaves the office.

How about making this decision by vote?

Pete James - January 25, 2007 01:41 PM (GMT)
Thats how I was going to do it, everyone puts the name, and the one with the most wins.

Jean Pierre Robespierre - January 26, 2007 10:43 PM (GMT)
I support Augusto Benavides also

Jacques de Beaufort - January 29, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
Monsieurs Jose Frias, Pete James, Jean Pierre Robespierre, and I have endorsed Augusto Benavides

Monsieur Matthieu Poiters has endorsed Juan Ciervo.

If the Speaker could officialize the count we could award the medal before the closing of Parliament.

Sincerely,

Pete James - January 29, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
