Title: Galatia - A territory or a province?
Emperor Edgard II - December 14, 2006 07:47 PM (GMT)
I think it's very important that we move to begin some formal dialogue between the former citizens of Galatia and myself as to what formally we want for Galatia.
Do the former citizens of Galatia (Gus, Pete, Jacques, Me, CMcQueeny [we should get him to come here] and Sebastien) want Galatia to become a territory (governed like Corcovado) or a formal province of Alexandria?
Also, if neither option is available, perhaps we could explore other options. The result of this talk will probably be in the form of a bill I will draft with my brother to propose to Parliament on this matter.
Jacques de Beaufort - December 14, 2006 10:38 PM (GMT)
If Galatia where to turn a province it'd have to happen immediately since there is a bill being debated in Parliament that would keep it as an Overseas Territory.
Personally, and since we've been trying to cut down a bit on provinces with the posible merger of Asuncion and Puerto Nuevo into only one under the name of San Martin, I'd say we'd better leave Galatia as an Overseas Territory.
Sincerely,
HIH Prince Enrique Portela - December 21, 2006 12:56 AM (GMT)
Leave it as a territory. We have enough provinces ;)

Even though i have no knowledge in this matter i think a territory would be much better. Every great empire needs a few territories after all ;)

Well, its either that or a dependancy. I'd prefer a dependancy than a territory.
Curtis Sinclair - March 22, 2007 04:33 PM (GMT)
What about a protectorate?
HIH Prince Enrique Portela - March 27, 2007 06:48 PM (GMT)
Mr. Sinclair,
Thank you for your suggestion. However, I have been talking with the Emperor about this, its being worked on currently.
respectfully,
