Title: Old Ibeliner Titles

Dear Citizens,
When reviewing the old forums of the Kingdom of Ibelin pre-merger, I found a couple of titles that belonged to the citizens there, and are now vacant or were simply forgotten; if the Emperor allows I would like to reassign them. These titles are:
- Grand Duke of Waarsland
- Duke of Lafonia
- Lord of Acre
- Lord Valois
- Lord Jacobelly
- Lord Ghentair
- Baron de Ascalon
- Baron de Pévèle
- Baron de Kerak
- Baron Le Pignet
Titles I would keep: Duke of Lafonia, Lord Valois, Baron de Pévèle, Baron de Ascalon.
Titles Paul Joyce would keep: Grand Duke of Waarsland, Lord of Acre, Baron Le Pignet.
Title the Emperor would keep: Baron de Kerak.
Title the Crown Prince would keep: Lord Ghentair.
Title I would like to give to the current Prime Minister: Lord Jacobelly.
So if the Emperor allows I would like to be able to give these out as specified above.

I don't see why not this can be possible. However, since Ibelin's sovereignty now rests with me, I will have to decree the giving of these titles. I will do so as soon as possible.

You know the idea of having a title tied to the office of the Prime Minister doesn't sound so bad. I actually quite like it. Maybe we could have something of the sort.

We would be delighted if your Imperial Highness would comment on the subject now on discussion: the possibility of attaching a nobility title to the possition of Prime Minister of the Empire, and why not to the possition of High Judge as well. So during the time of service the elected official also gets the rents and honours of a specific peerage.

I commend you, Your Grace, on coming up with such a fine idea, however I am opposed to it.
Making titles tied to specific postions could encourage people to seek those positions for the title and not for the responsibility. Also, I think that taking the prerogative of granting specific titles to whom I wish and the way I wish could potentially erode my power to grant titles.
