| THE TREATY OF APPLE ISLAND BETWEEN THE EMPIRE OF THE EMPIRE OF THE ALEXANDRIANS AND THE VIKING EMPIRE OF STORMARK We the Undersigned: AFFIRM the spirit of friendship and cooperation on which relations between the two Nations are based, and wishing to place their relations on an even closer and more concrete basis; ACKNOWLEDGE the importance to each Nation of the wide-ranging relationship between them and the close and enduring connection between the well-being of their Peoples; WISHING to enhance the valuable contribution to their relations made by the existing agreements between the two Nations in various fields; RESOLVE to provide wider opportunities for their Governments and their Peoples to work together in a spirit of understanding on matters of mutual interest in the political, economic, trade, commercial, and cultural; ARE CONVINCED of the importance of strengthening and diversifying their relations on an equitable and mutually advantageous basis in a long-term perspective; ARE CONVINCED that the conclusion of a Treaty which formally embodies and further advances the friendship and cooperation between the governments and peoples of the two Nations will facilitate the further development of their relations; HAVE THERFORE RESOLVED to conclude this Treaty, the Articles being: Article I - Avalon The Empire of the Alexandrians hereby recognizes the formal annexation by the Sovereign Lord of Stormark of the Isle of Avalon, which is, coloured in blue, depicted on the map contained in the Schedule to this Treaty, made by the Sovereign Lord of Stormark on September 14, 2006 and recognizes in consequence thereof the Viking Empire of Stormark as the sole and exclusive Sovereign Owner of the said Isle of Avalon. Article II - Anchorage, Transit and Fueling The Empire of the Alexandrians shall enjoy full anchorage, transit and fueling rights on the Isle of Avalon with the permission of the Imperial Government of Stormark. Article III - Amendment Amendment of this Treaty requires agreement between both signatory Nations. Article IV - Commencement This Treaty comes into force upon ratification by duly authorised government officials from each signatory Nation.
