WHEREAS the Constitution has termed the Imperial Parliament to stand for 3 months,

WHEREAS those 3 months are past over and it is time to renew our Parliament as soon as possible,

WHEREAS the Constitution specifies it is the duty of the Prime Minister to call for the by-elections necessary for the renewal of our Imperial Parliament,

I hereby ask that an election be held according to the Constitution of the Empire and the electoral law of a member to serve in the Imperial Parliament for the constituencies of Baudrix, Valenciennes, Ibelin, Puerto Nuevo, Rio Grande and Asuncion;

The nomination of candidates at the election to be held on the 10th day of October, 2006;

The voting of candidates to be held on the 12th through the 16th days of October, 2006;

A return to this writ to be made by the 21st day of October, 2006.

The Emperor has indicated to me that a few extra days for registration should be made available. Registration will now close on the 12th.
