Title: Mr. Speaker -
Description: Motion to introduce legislation

hard_right - August 16, 2006 05:29 PM (GMT)
I wish to motion for the introduction of the "Novasolum Withdrawal Resolution" as soon as voting ends on the Territorial Entities Act so we can remain in compliance with the "three-bills limit".

Matthieu Poiters - August 16, 2006 08:04 PM (GMT)

I wish to motion against it.

Poiters. MP for PN.

Pete James - August 17, 2006 11:13 AM (GMT)
Does anyone second the motion?

Pete James - August 18, 2006 03:31 PM (GMT)
Fellow Members of Parliament,

The Novasoulumn treaty it a framework that can be used for assistance and benefit. Unfortunatly sometimes this assistance doesn't arive and the benefits are not clear. We are at a crossroad for the history of our nation. To stay in Novasolumn for 10 years should we wish to withdraw in the future, or to withdraw and no longer part be of the community. It is my belief that Novasolumn needs a total rework if it is to survive. A proper infostructure. For the treaty to survive as anything which means something it needs a network which works. If in the future talks with this goal occur I would like Alexandria to be a part of it, and while I hope it will happen, I know the chances are slim. In my opinion Alexandrias best option is to leave Novasolumn now and perhaps in the future help set up a "Novasolumn Version 2". It is for this reason that I support the Fast Track Motion of the Prime Minister and second it. I urge you all to vote OUI on this, before it is two late.

Faithfully,

Pete James
