Title: WOW

I never thought a whole sub-forum for Santa Getrudis would ever be established, perhaps we should include Santa Gertrudis within the Spanish sector, as it was part of Rio Grande.

Emperor Edgard II - July 27, 2006 07:05 PM (GMT)
Well then otherwise, making a whole separate forum for Santa Gertrudis is a waste of space...

AugustoBenavides - July 28, 2006 07:21 PM (GMT)
I am not sure really, if it is a separate territory governing independently from the Province of the Rio Grande, then it should have the separate forum, but then again, I am the only resident here, and worst, part-time, my duties are in Geneva most of the time.

Emperor Edgard II - July 28, 2006 10:33 PM (GMT)
I thought that what you envisioned was the creation of Santa Gertrudis into a separate Viceroyalty/Principality. Santa Gertrudis is too far away to be included as a formal part of any province, so I thought that it would be better if it was a self-governing entity within the Empire.

Regarding the amount of citizens - well, I guess that calls for a massive recruitment camaign, right gentlemen? ;) Hahahaha.

Sebastien Alexandre - July 30, 2006 04:51 AM (GMT)
What Alexandria needs is a massive cut back in Provinces.

For one, outside of Asuncion there really are no political struggles - people win by default. For seconds, the French Quarter is almost deserted, apparently people don't like living by pansies (;))

AugustoBenavides - August 1, 2006 06:24 PM (GMT)
I completely agree with you.

We must merge the french region into one, same with the San Martin island.

Pete James - August 1, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
I have an act in teh pipeline, perhaps we should wait untill I present it?

HIH Prince Enrique Portela - August 16, 2006 02:55 AM (GMT)

Probably, yes.

HIH Prince Enrique Portela - September 20, 2006 12:14 PM (GMT)
SO then lets cut back. I think i am for the whole San Martin thing now... ;)

AugustoBenavides - September 20, 2006 05:21 PM (GMT)
You know I fully support the idea, count on me for this.

Jacques de Beaufort - September 26, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
I suposse that its because Ibelin used to be a country of which I was King, but I would very much like to see it remain a province.

Maybe we could regroup the provinces, but not just merge each sector into one. Even thought that would give us two provinces with everybody in them. How would that work for parliament?

Maybe we could have the government relocate some people so we have diversity in the provinces.

If still you wish to reduce the amount of provinces, my suggestion is the following:

-that we merge the original alexandrian provinces into two: those of the french sector and those of the spanish sector.
-that we keep Rio Grande and Ibelin as two separate provinces, since they were independent nations in their time.
-I believe that this could be better that having either 6 or 2 provinces, don't you?

Sincerely,

AugustoBenavides - September 26, 2006 06:34 PM (GMT)
You a good point in there you know...

Rio Grande can remain as one province, but what about Corcovado, it used to be part of Rio, but now it is a principality.

Pete James - September 26, 2006 09:06 PM (GMT)
we keep all the provences and elect X number of MP's from each sector based on Population

Emperor Edgard II - October 19, 2006 12:46 PM (GMT)
Your Highness, the GSO map was updated today and we can now proudly see the location of the Principality of Corcovado.

Now we must name all the rivers, lakes and such within the Principality. :)

AugustoBenavides - October 19, 2006 05:39 PM (GMT)
Of course, good to see this materialized on the GSO.
