I have some things to say about this Act:

1. In article 2, Subsection 6.
QUOTE
Another test facility may be built in the province of Asuncion to be called the Santa Maria Test Facility.

I believe it should say: "Another test facility will be built..."

2. In article 2, Subsections 10 and 11.
They specify that private investment is allowed to fund AISA's projects. It is my opinion that only private companies should be able to fund this agency, and bot people. For the followinf reason: I believe that the private investor should have a right to use the discoveries made by the space agency according to the amount of money given.

Joshua Jackson - February 17, 2006 03:25 AM (GMT)

I must say that I am a support of this act. I was a support while I was involved with the Shireroth astronomical group. Micras is our world. We are human and humans are naturally curious. Personally, I have watched science programs and curious what our solar system looked like or our stars looked like when we looked up. I have been curious if we get rain or snow what part of the year.

I think we should offer as much as we can to help develop the research and develop the space around Micras. I think we should work on criteria in development. I agree that it could easily abused. That's why I think a group or an individual needs to have a list to go by. This nation has this? They may move on to this. And then this. For example, to go to the moon? You need to show the development of rocket of some sort. The next world? Access to a functional station and so on. It's not an easy process so we should help.

I think we should also use this act to breath life into the Geographic Society. Perhaps we could talk to Greg about help making maps after we finish develop what is present?

I think the government /and/ private interest should work hand in hand. Government help will be needed. Eventually, it could be eventually handed off to private interest, but not from the beginning.

Interesting points of view Minister Jackson.

Sincerely,

Pete James - February 27, 2006 01:12 AM (GMT)
I suggest that instead of building a space program, we build medical reasearch centers, which will have a direct effect on the population compaired to the bragging rights of a space program.

Jacques de Beaufort - February 27, 2006 10:58 PM (GMT)
Mr. James,

wouldn't it be better for the Alexandrian public and for Alexandria itself that we created both research centres. I truly believe that it doesn't have to be a "one or the other" situation.

We would be honour to disscuss the creation of such medical research centres if you would have the kindness of proposing such an amazing bill.

Sincerely,

Pete James - February 28, 2006 12:03 AM (GMT)
Mssr. de Beaufort,

Could you name any direct benifets that the Space Agency would bring to the People of the Empire? Personally I cannot see any, however if i have overlooked them could you please inform me of them

Jacques de Beaufort - February 28, 2006 12:56 AM (GMT)
It would of course help research our beautiful sky, but more importantly it would mean a lot for our defence. Imagine what we could do with satellites aiding our defence organisations.

Sincerely,

Pete James - February 28, 2006 01:03 AM (GMT)
I appologise most sincerly, I forgot about satalites  somehow.

Indeed, we would also be able to offer SatNav and Sattalite Television to our citizens. I now feel I can offer this bill my support
