First of all, I am not against His Majesty's established flag, but I do like some facelift as he likes to say.
So I made a slight modification to it, and propose the naval jack for all ships stationed in our Duchy, military or merchant.

I have no issues with that, Archduke Augusto.

Although the flag for the ships has to be complimented with an Alexandrian flag as well! :)

I very much like the flags that the ARchduke has proposed, but I agree with His Majesty that they should include the Alexandrian flag in them -or at least the central part of our national flag-.

Ohh yes, I forgot to clarify that. Our naval jack is to be always right below the Empire's naval jack (or flag).

I was thinking that maybe we could take the background of the national flag and to it add instead of the lion the flag of Asunción in the middle... what do you think?

Ok...
Take the Alexandrian flag: it has horizontal stripes and a a red lion in the middle of a yellow rectangle in the centre. Well we take the yellow rectangle and replace it with Asunción's flag...
With this what we achieve is to have a reference to the national flag and a reference to the provincial flag...
Because if we decided to put the yellow rectangle into Asunción's flag it wouldn't be harmonic...
