Title: Speech to the People of Asunción.

AugustoBenavides - January 5, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
Asuncioners, in the dawn of a new era in our beloved land, we the people of one of the richest places in the whole Empire need to push forward for the changes that will benefit all of us, and ask the Lord for the streght to stop those that with false promises will lead us to a certain failure.

We have established a new Government Council in which all of you have a place to be heard, regardless of your economical or political status or ideas, a place where only us, Asuncioners, will plan to make this a better place to live.

His Catholic Majesty has given it's blessings to whatever we do here, and however we plan our future, as long as we remain loyal to the Empire; He has shown support and confidence in us, let us not fail, for what we will fail not only to His Majesty and our Glorious Empire, but to ourselves.

It will be just a matter of time to show that we are fully capable to handle our own business in an effective way, always under the guiding hand of His Majesty; that the Imperial Government will rest assured that we shall not ever raise our voices against it, but also that will not be a burden to the Empire, and that we can be a role model for the Alexandrian Provinces.

It is today, with this new beginning, that I lend my hand to all of you who wish to really make this a better place, I call to you in friendship, to forget our fights and to leave our differences aside to work for a common goal...Asunción!!!

VIVA ASUNCION!!!!
VIVA ASUNCION!!!!

VIVA EL IMPERIO!!!!
VIVA ALEXANDRIA!!!!

VIVA EL EMPERADOR!!!!

How interesting. Tell me, will you be holding investitures and blessing the troops next?

Fabiola Douay - January 5, 2006 10:53 PM (GMT)
And whilst we're about it - open my Speech topic back up. I may wish to post more and you have no right to close it.

AugustoBenavides - January 5, 2006 10:55 PM (GMT)
First off, I am also including you when I stating I have lend my hand.

Now, yes, I will be holding investiture, and about the blessings to the troops, I have shared the same fate, blessings, joy and sadness of my troops.

Fabiola Douay - January 5, 2006 10:59 PM (GMT)
Holding an investiture? What Orders will you be conferring?

Shared with the troops? You've never been near the front in your pampered life.

AugustoBenavides - January 6, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
Well you'll be surprised!!! I have since the old Martino days 'till now, I have been in the front, instead of just warming a seat in a fancy building, throwing trash at everything that moves...

Fabiola Douay - January 6, 2006 03:04 PM (GMT)
Really? For a fighting man you seem a bit of a coward to me. Closing threads when they become too heated for you to 'protect public order'.

AugustoBenavides - January 6, 2006 03:10 PM (GMT)
Woman, I am not willing to go inside your head and take that idea out of your tiny brain...

Fabiola Douay - January 6, 2006 03:12 PM (GMT)
Woman? Oh you just get better and better.
