People of Asunción,

I am devastated to have to tell you that I will not be representing you at the next election. This province is a corrupt one, under the thumb of two of the most incompetent and selfish people I have ever had the misfortune to meet.

It is because of this corruption and basic incompetence, I have decided to represent a different Province. It is our belief that we help everyone no matter what province they live in. I hope to be the elected official for the Rio Grande but I shall be representing every province and every Alexandrian.

Our party must have a voice in Parliament to continue our good work. We shall free you all of the oppression you are subjected to under a power-hungry Archduke and a foolish Cardinal who is unaware of the teachings of the Church he represents.

We are not abandoning you as they will claim - but we have to do our work. You will have democracy. You will have freedom. And you will have Mr Benavides in jail for his oppressive and autocratic behaviour.

If you keep your personal and partisan interests above the people's I will not only close this but move it where no harm can be done by you to the good people of Asunción.

You dare close this topic or move it and I'll report your actions to the Emperor. It's freedom and speech. If I want to say what a useless, arrogant fat-cat you are, I bloody well will. I am still the MP here until the day before the elections. I am still a citizen here. Now get off of your pedestal.
