Title: Notice to the people of Valenciennes

Emperor Edgard II - December 20, 2005 07:27 PM (GMT)
The Constitution of the Empire specifies that an MP that has not voted on any bill for 28 days has automatically forfeited his seat.

Russell DuBois, your province's MP, has not voted on any bill since November 21st. Today is the 29th day, I believe.

So, I will tell the Prime Minister to call for a by-election for Mssr. DuBois' seat as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Jacques Clement Guelfin - December 20, 2005 08:28 PM (GMT)

i wish to run for this position i believe it is time that this province had an ACTIVE member representing it and its time that WE REFORM THIS NATION'S PARLIAMENT and other institutions to ensure that we live in a democratic society

Jacques de Beaufort - December 21, 2005 12:13 AM (GMT)
Sorry to post in your province. But the Constitution says 15 days...

HIH Prince Enrique Portela - December 21, 2005 12:21 AM (GMT)
even worse then... we gave extra time for Minister DuBois then.

respectfully,

Jacques de Beaufort - December 21, 2005 01:09 AM (GMT)
I know...lol...

Emperor Edgard II - December 22, 2005 05:37 PM (GMT)
It's fine, Cardinal... you can post anywhere in Alexandria - you're our Cardinal, for God's sakes! LOL :D

Well, that further reinforces it then. We even gave him extra time...

And I have noticed that no one else has really announced their candidacy but Monsieur Guelfin, so I guess he wins by default... :o

Jean Michel Leclerc - December 22, 2005 10:06 PM (GMT)
SAY NO TO SHIRKERS! 1244

AugustoBenavides - December 22, 2005 10:16 PM (GMT)
Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is a "shirker"?

Nicholas Bertrand - December 23, 2005 02:25 PM (GMT)
I would like to contest this seat!

I hope to be representing the fabulous Alexandrian Pride Party

Fabiola Douay - December 23, 2005 03:06 PM (GMT)
I can confirm that Nicholas Bertrand will be representing the Alexandrian Pride Party in this election.

Jean Michel Leclerc - December 29, 2005 06:24 PM (GMT)
Well then:

shirk v.
avoid or neglect (a duty or responsibility).

So a shirker is some that shirks!

AugustoBenavides - December 29, 2005 10:45 PM (GMT)
Many thanks Lord Leclerc.

Jean Michel Leclerc - January 2, 2006 05:50 PM (GMT)
Anytime.
