People of Asunción,

I stand before you today as your Member of Parliament. I represent you in this country's parliament and it is a task I take most seriously. The Alexandrian Pride Party, you may have noticed, was the only party to put forward a candidate for your vote. Only this party wanted to represent you. Only this party thought your vote good enough. When I take my seat in Parliament, I shall ensure that our party represents the people of this province well. We shall ensure that we do the best, not only for those gathered here, not only for those who support us - but for everyone. Every Alexandrian has our support, our protection and our respect.
