Title: Concerning the Current Vote
Russell duBois - November 7, 2005 08:00 AM (GMT)
Your Eminence,
I assume that this Vote you have pre-emptively conducted is not a binding vote?
Matthieu Poiters - November 7, 2005 03:50 PM (GMT)
yeah is it? I certainly think that it should'nt be, Why not have a separate room just for votes?

This vote is just to see if we include the religion issue in our constitution.
If this vote comes out as YES, then the original article is included in the constitution.
If this vote comes out as a NO, then there will be no metion of religion in our constitution.
That's why i made this vote, if you think that we should have a different approach on delicate issues such as this, please suggest, i am open to all thoughts.
Sincerely,

Well I was a little confused as to whether this was just a Poll on MPs to determine an approach to the issue or whether someone was trying hi-jack parliamentary authority.
I do believe that before we conduct our own little polls, or votes, that we wait for the election of a Presiding Member, or a Speaker in other words.
I might also remind the Assembled that we should get the nominations moving along. I've pre-emptively taken the role of overseeing that, if you have an objection to that, feel free to tell me. B)

Ohh... sorry, i never meant toundermine anybody's authority. I just thoght that since we didn't agree on a possition we could make a vote and the possition that won would go to the Constitution, that's all.
But if you are against this poll we can just erase it and pretend it never happened and then when we have a Speaker we can have one.
Sincerely,
